Meet Salma
Salma is a mother of two who has been caring for children since 2004 and has been running her licensed home daycare since 2009.
Together with her two assistants, Salma provides a safe, loving, and caring environment where children can learn, play, and feel at home. Their days include reading, arts and crafts, music, circle time, and a variety of indoor and outdoor activities designed to help children build confidence, learn, and have fun.
Sweet Teddy Home Daycare is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM and welcomes children from 5 weeks old through school age, including before- and after-school care for Fairview Elementary.
The daycare is located in a large, private single-family home with plenty of room for children to play, learn, and explore. The home is clean, smoke-free, and pet-free, with a large private backyard playground where children can safely enjoy outdoor activities.
Salma and her team are Virginia State licensed, CPR & First Aid, MAT, and CDA certified. Sweet Teddy Home Daycare also participates in the USDA Food Program, providing healthy meals and snacks each day.
